CSB is a discipleship ministry for boys and young men dedicated to engaging, encouraging and raising them up to lead and serve in family, church and community. The mission of CSB is: building godly men of today and tomorrow. Please click here for more general information about CSB.

Unit 944, which meets at New Hyde Park Baptist Church, is a member of the wider CSB organization that has over 35 units in churches across more than 37 States and Canada. The local leadership team of unit 944 strives to promote and up hold the mission of the larger CSB organization.

CSB will begin on Friday, October 10, 2025. Please click here to register.

The cost of registration is $40 per child. If registering more than one child, the cost is $70 for the family.  You may now pay online with credit/debit card as well.

With each new registration, we encourage participants to purchase as special CSB shirt.

Unit 944 offers two programs:
1. Stockade (3rd – 6th Graders)
2. Battalion (7th – 12th Graders)

Stockade is designed for boys in 3rd to 6th grades.  Stockade is a mentoring program designed for Christian men to spend time with and mentor boys. Along with fun and games, boys participate in activities that involve exciting growth experiences: physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.  The Stockade program meets every Friday night from 7:00 pm to 8:45 pm.

The Battalion program is designed for boys in 7th to 12th grades. Battalion, similar to Stockade, is a discipleship-centered program where Christian men build personal relationships with teens and mentor them to be effective Christian leaders. These young men share experiences in peer group leadership through weekly meetings. The Battalion program meets every Friday night from 7:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.

CSB is an important ministry of NHPBC and we would like to encourage you to consider if you know a boy who would be blessed by the program. Feel free to offer an invitation to boys outside of your immediate family such as neighbors, co – workers and even school friends associated with your own children.
